Natuve: The Dramatic Society

Natuve, the theatre society of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, has been a home for passionate performers and storytellers since 2010. What began as a small group of theatre lovers has grown into a vibrant community that lives and breathes the stage. With 100+ performances annually, we use theatre as a medium to engage, question, and reflect. We’ve had the honour of performing at iconic venues like Triveni Kala Sangam, Akshara Theatre, and NSD, winning over 80 awards at top institutions like IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, and AIIMS adding to the college’s cultural legacy.

What sets Natuve apart is its spirit. It’s where first-years find their voice and seniors leave their mark. Our street productions explore social issues hidden in plain sight like loneliness, inferiority complex, work-life balance, privacy, and depression, turning everyday struggles into powerful conversations. Our work doesn’t just entertain; it sparks dialogue, challenges norms, and pushes creative boundaries. Driven by young artists determined to make an impact, Natuve continues to grow as a space for innovation, courage, and meaningful change.
