Delta – The Articulation Society
The Delta Society of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is a vibrant society which aims at developing articulation, confidence and leadership among the students. Being the Articulation Society of the college, Delta is aimed at providing students with practical soft skills, which are not necessarily academic in nature, thus enabling them to perform better in group discussions (GDs), personal interviews, and in general speaking.
Delta has an annual round of interesting events that are carried out during the academic year, including GD simulation rounds, interview training session, public speaking contest, and skills building seminar conducted by industry professionals and senior mentors. These programs are to perfect articulation skills of the members, strengthen their self-confidence and equip them with academic, professional, and social achievement.
Delta’s Annual event ‘Virasaat’ 2025, consisted of two events, Parivartan (Panel discussion) and Samvad Manthan (GD and Debate competition). Col Kushal Kashyap and IAS Prem Kr. Gera were part of Parivartan’25 and shared insights on leadership and resilience. The event concluded with SAMVAD MANTHAN, one of the largest GD competitions of DU, where hundreds of participants engaged in thought-provoking discussions and sharp debates. Delta Society is of the opinion that the communication of ideas to impact is the key. In keeping with this vision, the society still produces eloquent minds with the ability to express them with clarity, confidence and conviction to the spirit of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College.
